how hard is a REW swap
i gotta buy a motor for my car.. is it difficult for a rewswap on a second gen? if so what does it consist of mines a88 S4 T2 or should i go with another T2 im going for HP

just get a Turbo II engine to match your series

The worst part is the engine mount. I had a custom cradle made and it worked great. I bolted the engine up to a TII tranny. You have to use a FD Flywheel and a TII clutch.
I stongly suggest a stand alone ECU. I used Motec but Wolf3D or Haltech will work good too. You can use the stock twins as well and a FD downpipe, then you need to have a muffler shop modify a FD Midpipe to match up to the cat back. You can also swap out the front cover of the engine for a TII cover and then all your accessories will bolt back on. Its a lot of work and a lot of thought has to go into it. I love my REW swap, it makes a lot of power and I am not even pushing it hard. If you decide to do it drop me a PM I can put you in touch with the guy that made my engine cradle. That is about the only real custom part you need.
