Thumbs up Just Finished - GC's and Trailing arm bush.

I just finished installing the Ground Control kit on my '94 Civic EX along with the new Energy Suspension trailing arm bushings.

WOW. The combination kicks butt over the Eibach Pro Kit.

First of all, the trailing arm bushings are junk - they do not help locate the trailing arm at all. The difference in geometry preservation with the new bushings is night and day.

Overall, the GC kit appears to be of good quality and is very easy to adjust. The O-rings used with the AGX shocks are a bit cheesy though. I'd prefer an appropriately sized urethane shim like they provide for use with stock shocks. I surmise that the majority of noise complaints with GC are from the sleeve hitting the shock body under side load. The spring rates are great for the street - firmer than the Pro Kit and more predicable under load. The car feels consistent. It also helps to have more front suspension travel now. The Pro Kit was riding on the bump stops in my application.

Yeah anything is better than aftermarket off the shelf springs. I had the Eibach Sportlines and the spring rates were too soft:

Eibach Springs going 40 mph:

Ground Controls high speed turn going about 80mph:

Nice, with 2 people no less.

Q1: What spring rates are you using on the GC's - stock or custom?
Q2: What swaybars are you using?
