tacoma rearview mirror interchange?

my 1999 prerunner has folding non-power outside mirrors that must be adjusted by rolling the windows down. i was wondering if the 2000-2004 non-folding/non-power mirror setups have an inside control lever (on the black plastic triangle mounting base) so they can be adjusted from inside.
i would so since they have a fixed type housing, or am i trying to locate something that isn't available?
THANKS!

Re: tacoma rearview mirror interchange?

My 2004 Extracab with SR-5 package has fixed mirrors with manual lever controls inside. The 2004 Tacoma sales Brochure shows the remote control mirror as standard for all Tacoma models.

Re: tacoma rearview mirror interchange?

my 2000 prerunner ext. cab has non-folding mirrors with manuel interior control....it should be an easy switch as long as you can find the right parts(interior cover, adjustment lever, etc.)
