short shifter

hey every one

i just bought a short shifter and i dont think that im going to have a problem installing it but i just want to know what im getting my self in to. does any one out there know if i can just unbolt the old one pull it out and drop the new one in or do i have to to take out all the linkage. i havent really concentrated that much on that area. any help u can offer would be great and pictures even better. thanks.

there should be a bolt under your car right up above the exhaust pipe just unbolt that and take out the bushings then go into the car, take the shifter nob off, take the boot off and take the bolts off. its very easy once you take a good look at it. you'll get it.
