profec-b/turbos

I recently purchased a greddy profec b spec II but I couldn't find a place to get the vacumm line through the firewall, so I was wondering if there is a certain place in the firewall that I can run the vacuum line through or am I just going to have to drill a hole through my firewall?? I was also wondering if I could take the compressor side of a 1g dsm 13g turbo and bolt it to my stock 9b turbine housing since they are both tdo4??? I recieved 6 dsm 450 injectors and I was wondering if I could use them, and if so, then would I need and safc to control them, considering that they are only 450's??

Re: profec-b/turbos

I'm not sure about the turbo or injector stuff, but take off your carpeting down by the pasenger and driver's feet would go and start looking up towards the firewall... there should be some grommits which you can punch a hole in and maybe fit a hose in. Also, look back around the radio, there might be a place there. The easiest way, actually, might be to go into the engine back, and with a flashlight peer down by the firewall looking for grommits which you could punch a hole in and stick the hose through. Good luck.

Idk if anynobody will know the compresser ? but you could also try posting it here http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...lay.php?f=1199

EDIT: Q: Which injectors can I purchase to upgrade the stock fuel system?

A: There are various sizes of injectors that can be used to upgrade the fuel system. The three main sizes are 450cc, 550cc, and 720cc. The 450cc variety is used from a stock DSM (Eclipse or Talon turbo) and provides a basic level of modification. The 550cc are the most commonly used and provide a good level of modification. These injectors should be good up to 18psi of boost. The 720cc models are for very heavy boost (18psi+) and are usually used with at least 15g turbo upgrades.

Re: profec-b/turbos

Check down by your pedals. I forget which, maybe the clutch, has a hole near/above it, where I ran a vacuum line through the firewall to my boost gauge.

450cc injectors will need an SAFC or some type of fuel control. 390s are about as big as you can go without it.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
