I need a High Quality speed shop anywhere remotely close to Baltimore!
I know EIP tuning is ok, but judging by their web-site, they are almost exclusively VW now.
Theres gotta be a decent shop around here (i'm looking into an engine swap so they gotta be damn good!) |

GW
yeah GW motorsports is a good choice, if you see an import sports commercial on tv and they say they are the one stop shop for engine swaps dont go there they are ghetto and they have high prices.

Don't know if they do engine swaps, but Altered Atmosphere is where a friend of mine takes his Stealth R/T. They are mainly a turbo shop specializing in 3000GTs and Stealths, but they seemed fairly decent and have a dyno onsite to tune, and they had several Supras there as well as a couple hondas. They are in Gaithersburg. My friend really likes their work as it's a 9 hour drive for us.

My shop is good www.lucasperformance.com
We are in Columbia MD and we are very close to Bmore. we do engine swaps all the time. Sylvia, JDM, U name it!!! I have been to inline pro, they are good, but expensive. EIP, well, if u want them to screw up ur car, then go to them. If u knew what I know, you would not even mention their name. New Again, well they used to be real good, but their mechanics roll out quick and always new heads in there and they overcharge. Check out my shop in my sig, we do everything.

AS far as shops go.. DO NOT go to EIP. Altered is a very good shop, but do mostly all 3000gt and supras.. as far as hondas go, the BEST shop for swaps is Inline Pro. period. also Nu Image is a very good honda shop. I wouldn't take my cars to any other shops in md/dc/va. If you are looking for parts, I can hook you up. I work in Jessup at a shop called extreme motorsports(the worlds #1 mitsubishi/talon shop, with the worlds fastest unibody 4-cylinder at 8.8 seconds). I own two hondas myself, and I can usually get a really good hookup on any parts.
