Turbo brake conversion

Hey all, after checking my manuals and the local Toyota dealer's parts dept., it looks like I can convert the brakes on my 91 NA to 91 Turbo spec by just changing the calipers and caliper mounts. Anyone done this? I know the brakes got bigger in 93, but 91 to 91 should work right?

Re: Turbo brake conversion

Yes, the swap is pretty straightforward.
IIRC, you should get the turbo mastercylinder as well.

You might want to double check that, as it mght be needed inthe 93->91 swap, not the turbo->NA swap.

Re: Turbo brake conversion

how difficult is the 91' to 93 swap?

FYI pureadrenalins old car was a 92 (12/91) but it had the 93 brakes from factory.
