junkyard journeys

well i went the local bone yard in hopes that the one in a million chance of another z being there with no such luck
allthough it wasnt all wasted though
i did see a few raritys there such as an actually good conditioned 80 rx7
and a dual overhead straight 6 toyota supra......
but the gold mine for me was moments after i entered the yard
i was strolling straight through to the import section when my buddy goes "is that what i think it is" i was like "ooooh a buick"
hes like "yeah and" a breif moment of silence and i said "what i dont need any thing for m,y bonnevile....." he said "oh but i think you do"

he points under the hood i think ooooh a newwer fwd v8 big deal so i say "what an 8" he says "no" i look a little closer "woah its a super charger no shit.... bet its toast..."
i felt the shaft no play at alll spun it and it spun freely so needless to say after i found out they couldnt help my traumatized nissan this could work
so about an hour and 70$ later i now have a super charger and an ecu minus the injectors for my bonbneville

totally off topic but i have to say that was the best junkyard experience iv ever had


i thought i found a car with a turbo i was gonna grab the ecu for shits and giggles (it was a ford fiesta i believe ) it said turbo on the side i figured id find someone with one and it would be a funny story to drop a tubo on (a ridiculously shit beat tiny car+ a rediculously huge turbo and injecvtores = about 3 trips down the drags = a life time of memorys............


anybody else have a good junkyard sory


i got another one my buddy has a junkyard (ok its his uncle ) well one day we found a couple cars that ran one the legendary tempo one a rusted to hell TURBO subaru and a\nother a toyota...?(approx size of a maxima) well the end was the subby killed the others and anything that was in its wasy it was great
we even went hill climbing up this hill that was no lie close toi if not over 40' higjh almost staight up we went dowen it 2 times i was like ohh fuck (big tree just off to the one side and i dfo mean big like 4' round ) after 2 or 3 tears down we lined up at the bottom i was like not gonna happen 2 tries later and almost rolled avoiding the tree backwards io was proved right but it was awsome
