headlights out

This is a repost because I did not get a reply, so here we go again.

I have an 89 GP with no low beams, parking lights and high beams fine.I have mileage read out intermittently. This GP does not have day running lights. Fuses ok.

Could this be a bad control switch module or is there a resistor or relay??

Thanks for the help.

Re: headlights out

I would check the dimmer switch to see if it's out of adjustment ( it won't allow the plunger to push it in far enough to turn on the low beams). It will move far enough to turn off teh hi-beams, but not to turn on the lows. the other real common problem is the multifunction switch that controls the turnsignals, cruise and such.
