Questions about 89 lx conv

I have an 89 lx 4 cyl. My signal lights aren't working and both of my doors won't lock. The hazzard lights work so I'm sure the bulbs aren't burned out. The doors won't lock at all, so I currently remove the coil wire when I park it outside. I'm new to Fords any help would be appreciated. Also, has anyone replaced a convertible top on one of these? Mine leaks very badly and the leather is beginning to harden. How much would it cost to replace with one of stock quality?
