Guage Cluster problem
Okay I just swapped in a 97 ex guage cluster into my 96 cx hatch and I only came up with 2 problems. The first one was that I wasn't getting enough light on the left side. I'm going to take a bulb from my old cluster and put in that little here on top and that should fix the problem. The other one is that my temperature guage is working. The tach works and so does the speedo and fuel from what I can tell. But it doesn't seem that my car is warming up. Oh and I even swapped the odometer and speedometer to the new cluster as to have correct mileage. This really was a bolt in affair. Any ideas on the temperature gauge though?

double check the wire going into the plugs in the back. Check out www.jdmfan.com under the "Technical" section and look under the Integra Cluster into the Civic. You should be able to use the part for the civic wires and make sure that you have them in the right place. Since your Cx has the gas on one side and the temp on the other. Where the Ex has the water and the gas on the right side. good luck. stefan525

Sorry about that my computer had 2 virues on it and I couldn't get online for the life of me. In response to your answer I really didn't screw around with the wires at all. All I did was unplug to plugs, one on top and one on the side and the airbag wires. When I swapped my cluster back in everything is working perfectly.
