Transmission Dipstick
I bought a used 97 sunfire 2.4L and my check engine light came on today. Im looking for the transmission dipstick but i dont see one. Am i missing it or does the car not have one. If so, any ideas where i can buy one.

It doesn't have one.There is a check hole on the side of the tranny.Take out the bolt and if tranny fluid drips out,it's good.

Be carefull on it.
You have to check it good and warm with engine running. Save yourself a lot of trouble. Make the lube person check it when you get it serviced. MT
