Angry muffler problem PLEASE HELP

ok, i got an arospeed bomb muffler. i put in on today and it is ridiculosly loud. how can i make it quieter? please help me out. it sounds like a damn airplane or something

Buy a silencer for it, they probably have them at the same place you got your muffler at.

my friends bomb came wit the silencer, but someone stole it, and i know how loud that thing is especially if u have headers and a gutted cat like my boy does.

Question

just in case you can't find a silencer, go buy a cherry bomb glass back or something, mount it in the mid pipe section. Several of my friends have done it and it actaully turned their cars from weed eater sounding exhaust into nice deep exhasut with a good scream at wide open throttle.

I know what youre sayin man, my obx muffler with 2-1/4 piping fromthe cat back is louder than just about everything on the damn road

thanks guys. my friend gave me a resonator off of a 98 gsr so im gonna try that. if that doesnt tone it down enough he gave me a silencer out of his tanabe
