Please Help Anti-freeze Leak!
My 92' 6-cyl Rodeo has a major anti-freeze leak coming from the front of the engine. It happened one time and my dad and I put more anti-freeze into it and it ran fine for about a month. Today it just started running hot and leak anti-freeze profusly(about the same thing that happened before. Please let me know what's going on here. I don't really feel like spending alot of money. Thanks!!

If your hoses all check out then you probably have a bad water pump.

Re: Please Help Anti-freeze Leak!
I understand the money situation, but you are, in fact, driving a 14yr old vehicle with probably well over 100k miles - ANYTHING could be going out, and the water pump and hoses would be my first guess.
Especially true if this is the original water pump. Double check the radiator itself, as it could be leaking and the fan is splashing the antifreeze back onto the engine.

Yes, 1992 6cyl = GM 3.1L, front of the engine leak is probably the water pump.
