97 Escort Wiring for Stereo
Can anyone please tell me which two power wires to use for an after market stereo. I have a battery wire and an ACC wire coming out of my new stereo but for the life of me I can not determine were they hook up to. I have the speaker wires done. Can someone please help

Did you buy a wiring adapter to attach to the cars stock wiring? Use a test light to determine which wire is always hot (battery) and which wire is hot when the car is on and in the accessory position.

I screwed up the wiring harness on the car. Wound up finding a new one at a junk yard. Finished installing the stereo this morning and it's work great. Thanks for your reply.
