Taxicab conversion
Hi all, I got Fujimi's 131 Crown Supercharger Inch up 1/24 kit. I want to convert this one to a Japanese taxicab. I've already painted the top half of it camel yellow and the bottom half Italian Red (both by Tamiya). Any suggestions on how I can detail it up?

Re: Taxicab conversion
Search for pics of 1:1 cabs or go to NYC for a view for yourself. Be afraid!!!!! How do you mean detail though? Most cabs have meters and radios up in the front, then the partition in the middle like a police car. There's the obvious sign on the roof, the cab conpany logo on the side and fare rates.

Re: Taxicab conversion
Aoshima's just released 3 models of the owner driver taxicab based on the latest Crown, Celsior, and older Crown Majesta, u could buy one of these kits and build as a standard car rather the taxi and use the extra parts to build your current taxi
