How much $ Should it Cost

I just got pacesetter armor coat headers and a universal magnaflow cat. How much should it cost me to have these installed, there will be some welding and fabrication involved. Thanks.

Re: How much $ Should it Cost

Unless it is a V6 you got a header, not headers. Specify info about your vehicle.

Re: How much $ Should it Cost

Better have them check your blinker fluid while you are in there or your car will go all to hell.

Re: How much $ Should it Cost

If possible install the header yourself. Then drive to the muffler shop, the down pipe is reduced to fit into your stock exhaust pipe and they supply you with clamps to do so, most of the cost Tim said is going to be from installing the header so this will save you uber amount of money! Also don't use the cork gasket they sent you either, use your stock one or buy a new steel one. Cork will be eattin away over time. If your in NY, lemme know. I have some buddies who own a shop. I do all my major work there on the lift and we do exhausts the whole nine yards.

2003 eco...thanks for the advice about installing the header myself, not running with a high budget here.

Re: How much $ Should it Cost

Re: How much $ Should it Cost

the header is definetely a do-it-yourself job, if you do the header yourself and just have the cat welded on at some shop it shouldnt be more then 50-75 dollars (if that even)
