B18 difference?

What's the difference between the JDM B18 and USDM B18?

idk about the non Vtec ones, but the GSR has a different compression ratio and the JDM engine has a few more hp and a higher redline...

It's a b18c1 i believe it was. so the only real difference is a little more hp? and redline?

I personally rather go with USDM, the japanese motors are harder to validate accurate mileage, and also since in japan they don't keep the motors as long they put more of a beating on the engines. My JDM motor runs like A$$ if i don't use super gasoline, another thing to consider

jdm gsr= 180 hp and 8200 rpm redline usdm gsr= 170 hp and 7600 rpm redline
pretty sure thats right
