will a 4l60-e fit in place of a 4l80-e?
is that possible? i have a 91 chevy suburban with a 350 3/4 ton

And you would put a weaker trans in, why? Yes, probably the drive shaft yoke and/or length is different, possibly the mount, flywheel.

I believe the flywheel is differant too.The 4l80-e flywheel has 6 torque converter bolt holes.

The 4l80e has more sensors than the 4l60e.
