thinking about buying an Escort GT...

Hey all-
I am new to this board. I just sold my 1990 Honda Civic hatchback and was looking at getting an Escort GT in the next few months. Probably around a 91-96 GT is what I am looking for. I had 2 Escort GT's before in the past, one was a 90 GT and the other was a 94 GT, both of which I really enjoyed. I sold the 90 GT and traded the 94 GT on a Civic then got rid of that Civic to get the Civic I just sold Now I am looking at getting another GT. How much would a 91-96 Escort GT cost on average? I know that you can tune them pretty damn good, but I am not really into all that performance stuff. Are there any bodykits available? I know that Erebuni makes one I believe but that looks whats on the GT already. Is there a Cosworth style kit available anywhere as this will be one of my first mods to get for the car??? Also, are there any clear corners available too? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

first yes there are clean corners available. the best sites are zxtuner.com and procarparts.com for them. Now on to the body kits. I see u know abotu eribuni and the other body exspeacialy made for an escort is the escort gt body kit but that should come already on the gt. But if ur handy u can get a civic body kit molded on and many other kinds. If u go to escortracing.com on the forum (one of the best escort forums for all info) there are some group vuys of a guy by the name of relic who is selling evo 3's exspeacialy made for escorts so u could get on of those if he still has em.

If your looking for a body kit the best place to go is to www.onderground-desgin.com. they have the best kit and it is road legal. you won't have to take out your cars bumper safety equipment to make it fit.
