2001 starting problems
Hey
I read some previous threads about starting problems, but I have found nothing. My 2001 4.3l v6 4x4, wont start. It turns over, but thats all then makes some weird sounds at the end of the starter tryin to start. Any ideas? Thanks

Check your distributor cap and rotor. My truck(same year and model as you)had the same problem and we've found out that there were small cracks that we can't see with naked eye on the cap, we've found the problem as the fire were jumping out of the distributor. When we've pulled off the cap , it was worned. We've changed the cap and rotor and no problems since then(it's been 6 months now).
