problems with installing a cd player
I have a 94 camaro and tryin to put a sony xplod in it, but i have connected all the wires and everything but it doesn't have any volume but it comes on, i was just wonderin if anybody has had this problem or maybe somebody knows what to do. But on the other had i plan on hook up a 500 watt sony xplod amp to two 12" rockford fostgate subs, do u guys think i should buy speaker for the door and stuff and do u think that will sound pretty good?

might have factory amp issue. check and see if there's another wire you overlooked. if you find it, the amp remote wire on the sony (blue wire) will need to be hooked to it.

yea go to crutchfield for the instructions. I would replace ALL the speakers if your going to enter a show or something, factory issued speakers use paper and glue they are pathetic. It will sound fine if you don't change them (as long as they aren't blown) but it would sound a lot more crisp if you change them.
