I have never had any problems with my 2000 intrigue gls until now! On the way home today I was driving the car and the service engine light came on and it felt like the tranny started to slip and it was surging something fierce during light acceleration, thats not it also when I hit the brakes with very little pressure it felt like the ABS was surging also. I will scan it tomarrow to find the code but if anyone has any clue what it is or might be, please inform me. Thank You.

if your tranny feels odd and abs is acting funny, it may be something in the computer, or possible a bad joint somewhere. ive not had this problem before so i cant really say. the surging with abs maybe something with the tranny. ????

I am positive it is something electrical because the whole car is pretty much electrical. The question is, is it some bullshit sensor or is the whole ecu, or worse a combination of a couple things. I aint to worried though it is under full warranty.

Take the car to autozone or someone with a scanner and have the computer scanned for codes. Once you get the code then post it here and someone will help you figure out what to do to repair the problem.
