engine swap, tranny question????
I have a 93 talon tsi awd and my stock 7 bolt motor blew last night, I'm planning on getting a 6 bolt from a 92 but I was wondering if my 7 bolt tranny will bolt on to the 6 bolt motor? I already know that I have to use the 6 bolt flywheel. Thanks ahead for any help!

If the bell housings are infact the same like I'm 90% sure they are it will.

I'm pretty sure that they bolt up the same 6 bolt or 7 bolt.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.

Yeah the do cause my 2g has a 6bolt engine with a 7bolt trans.
