91 Talon

hey, i am looking at this 91 eagle talon this kid i know is selling. It has brand new paint and body kit, it is green with a peral, the body kit was painted also, it has 17" rims and a cold air intake, new clutch, and exhaust manifold. Now the body has 161,000 but a new motor was installed but he does not know how manny miles on it, it is under 100,000 tho. It is a 2 door hatch back it is just a 2.0 dohc. He told me he would sell it to me for $2,600 is this a good deal. Again the body is flwaless, bradn new paint, he own a body shop so you know how good it looks. The interior is in good shape also. So do you think it is worth this much?

Turbo or non turbo? If NT I would say offer him ~$2200. If turbo that sounds pretty good. Does he have proof of rebuilt or new engine? If not, I wouldnt take his word.

it is a n/t and i know he did the new motor because i saw it when he put it in. He is a auto body/ auto sales person. But he told me for 2,600 he would sell it to me and paint to holw car any color i want,i for got the body kit is NOT painted, so ya. i think i will see if i can get him down to $2,500 and paint the body kit same color as the car, peral green.
