am i in the right forum for protege5?

protege 5 is what we have 2003.
passenger headlight burnt out on low beam.
do we just change the bulb or do we need a whole new headlight?

Change the bulb. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the connector, Remove the cover, release the bulb seating wire to remove the bulb. All the components are behind the headlight. Information is from the shop manual, I have not changed one for a Mazda but it shouldn't be difficult.
