Changing 00 Cavalier Fuel filter

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is on a 00 Cavalier and how big of a job it is to change it?
Thanks

it's back my the tank. It's kind of a pain. Depends on a lot of facotrs. Call a few places and get a price to change it. If it is cheap let them do it. but if not you can do it, it's not extremely diffucult

Can you see it or is it covered up?
$100 to change it seems steep.

Re: Changing 00 Cavalier Fuel filter

you can see it from what i remember. There is that balck box thing I can't remember for the life of me what it is called but you will have to take the bolts out of it and let it hang there while you are working on it. Other than that it depends how it was put together. If it has a plastic clip then your ok but if not then you gotta use something like a fuel line disconnect thing to get it off.
