Tires

Hey,
I have a 98 Mustang gt and its time for new tires. I was wondering if I could fit 275/40/17's on the gt rim without any problems?

Thanks
Greg

Re: Tires

I have heard that they will fit but also that it may not be the best choice.

Re: Tires

stock rim is 8" wide and 275 is as wide as you would like to go any larger is unsafe. Just make sure you get a tire with a stiff side wall and not some marshmellow tire.
