'91 auto-manual swap
hey,
i found a 91 teg with 25,000 miles on it. Not kidding. $4,000. Problem is that it is an automatic and every car i've ever owned has been manual. But the deal sounds to good to turn away just b/c it is auto. So I got to thinking... How much would it cost to make the conversion (parts & labor)? & could I get any money for an automatic tranny with only 25,000 miles. It would be perfect if I could sell the tranny to cover most of the conversion cost b/c I'll probably get the car either way. What do you all think??? possible??? stupid idea??? Thanks for your help |
