Unhappy Gxe, 97, speedometer,odometer,cruse,thermometer problem

I have started with a problem in my altima with a rough Idle, and after long stragle, I found that the intake gasket was bad and need to be changed, and to save some money I sent it to a cheap mechanic that he changed it fixed the rough Idling but he gave me the car with new problems, I found that the odometer, speedometer, cruse control, temperature gage, and the overdrive are not working, and when I went back to that mechanic he said it must be a bad fuse that caused all of that, can any body tell me if their is such a fuse although I examined the fuses inside the car underneath the stearing and all of them look fine.
Also if anybody may suggest what did this man do to my car when he changed the intake gasket.

There are relays in several places under the hood, and a relay box near the battery. The mechanic might have caused one to burn out.

Your service engine light must be on? Make sure that the VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor is plugged into the wire harness. The VSS is in the transmission just above where the passenger side axle slides into the transmission and just below the intake manafold.

I had a similar situation, the mechanic had un-grouded my relay panel...
