Ebay...

Im just wondering what all is ebayable and what isn't I mean im not completly stupid, lights sure, but for actual mechanical stuff i doubt ebay is the way to go, what im looking for is a rundown of stuff that could be purchased vs stuff that shouldn't be ebayed, such as rims, air intakes and other stuff, plus sometimes its cheaper to buy local sometimes not I also know that. Any responses will be good. Also im not looking to be insulted so what I don't know, big deal, just looking for alittle advice

Re: Ebay...

I'd check for name brands. If the name is shady enough for them not to list, its probably not the best product to buy. Also, I like seeing the actual pictures, not the ones from the manufacturers websites.

Ebay isn't all that bad, you just have to be extremely careful in what you are buying. Go for named brands. But be careful because a lot of people will put named brands in their titles/discreptions as a comparison and you will not notice the difference if you are not reading carefully.

Biggest thing I'd stay away from are non-named brand material and those stupid "speed chips".

Re: Ebay...

I recently bought a cold short ram air intake for my 95 cavalier 2.2L on ebay and their was one small problem which was fixeable with the hose of the intake it really wasnt the right shape instead of ending were the old intake box was it ended to be by the battery but was still able to put it on and it was a pretty good product really gives it a nice sound and HP. Also bought sum Xenon gas light bulbs 4 a penny $0.01 just for the hell of it and they are great i got that B33M3R look in my cavalier...
