right turn signal not working........

my friends right turn signal seems to not click whenever he pull the lever down. it is like it's stuck or something, so it won't blink. any ideas on how to fix it? is taking the steering wheel off difficult, cause i'm kinda scared that the airbag will go on. any comments is appreciated. thanks.

Could be something wrong with the turn signal switch. You will probably have to replace it. It's pretty simple and you don't have to take the steering wheel off. Disconnect the battery and wait at least two minutes to allow the air bag system to disarm. Remove the top and bottom steering column covers and take the screws out that hold the switch on. Install is reverse and all nuts are tourqued to 17" lbs.
