gas pedal
the gas pedal in my car seems to have this inch gap when you press it down before it actually hits the gas to move...do any of your cars do that? it kind of creaks and theres this space and then its like you go far down enough and it works fine.

take the intake off and look at the throttle body. have someone press the pedal all the way down, if the valve opens WOT then your ok. if not then you have to loosen the throttle cable and re-tighten it.

Re: gas pedal
While we're on this subject... just how hard is everyone else's pedals?... mine are the stiffest I've ever driven (this is only my 4th car, but I drive cars all the time for a car lot)... I've even driven a fully-loaded Z28 and a Porsche... none of the cars have had pedals as stiff as mine... R they supposed to be that stiff, or did someone do something to my car (i.e. tighten throttle cable)
