94' Achieva with dead engine.

Hello, I'm new to this forum.
My question and dilemma...I own a Red, 94', 2dr, Achieva, with 122 thousand miles. It has a very clean interior, no upholstery tears, or dashboard cracks. All electric works fine, plus A/C. The body is in great condition. It has 122 thousand miles.
But the engine is dead...I think it's a blown rod.
What would you suggest I do with this vehicle to sell it? What do you think it’s worth?
The car is in Laguna Beach, CA.

Re: 94' Achieva with dead engine.

With a blown engine you probably won't get more than $500 for the car. Not too many folks want to buy a car they can't run unless they are looking for a parts car. If you were to replace the engine with a used one you could probably sell it for $2500 but it will cost you to replace the engine.

Welcome to AF!

Thanks for the reply, information and welcome...
I'm willing to take less than $500.00 for the car.
I don't want to spend any money to replace the engine.
I've posted here to get some exposure about this car. Do you have any more suggestions on how I can sell this car..."as is"...?
The car is in Laguna Beach, CA.
