I`m thinking about somethink like this in rear part of car

but i dont know what to do with front part of car /from driver seat to front/
i dont wont to have nothing close to my head i dont wont to drivie with helmet /so i`m thinking only obout part close to my legs/

any tips ??

the front part of that cage would work too unless your really tall and almost touch the roof as it is. I would get the bars as close to the rocker panel as possible since its the strongest part of the floor. I'm about to have to get a cage put in one of my civics, and eventually get one in my 4th gen for daily driving.

are you building it to be cool or serve purpose.

most people assume they can copy pics and make their own...which is fine if it's for "show" or "off road" purpose.

if you want a set-up for track use you really need to buy a professional set-up which is calculated structally

Buying one like that would probably be cheaper than having a custom one made. The material itself is expensive, but once I get one put in my 4th gen, im going to have some locals build one in it...one nice thing about living near a race track, bunch of people who know how to build cages. When my 5th gen gets a cage in it, I'm gonna get pics of it, but its not a street car either.

I'v built a few cages before, your better off buying one prebuilt or having one built for you by a local shop. Tubing benders are expensive (I'v spent over $1000 on mine), plus you have to know how to use. You also have to be able to weld and have access to a welder. If you are going to run it on a track it has to be certified, NHRA certification is around $75 for the initial certification and it has to be recertified every three years after that (or sooner depending on the class). Like said above the materials are not cheep either. Dont do attempt to do this unless you truely have the skills to do it.
