no start diagnosis

starter went bad on my 89 5.0, changed it and now it wont start not a sound

Double-check that you put the wires back in the same place on the new starter that they were on the old starter...and make shure they are tightly secured.
You did plug your battery back in, right?

yeah make sure the purple wire is on "S" terminal. also the body of starter to the engine is it's ground source so you need make sure that's snug, don't overtighten it, broken starter bolts are some hours of cussing and moaning, trust me.
