help just purchased 90' 300zx need alt rebuilt and has oil leak

ok as alt goes thats just my time and 60 bones but this oil leak!! it only leaks while running but a fair amount the guy i bought it from didn't know much and said it was just a oil pan leak but at first look i knew it was more than that. so i was told that oil persure sensor is prone to leak. leak looks to becoming from front of engine but oil is every where. this is my first 300zx and i know that this leak could be much worse than i figured but was a good price and do all my own work so any help would be great

Is there any clicking sounds or other noises coming from the front of the engine? The VTC gears (intake cam gears) run on oil pressure and might be the cause. Other wise it would most likely be valve cover gaskets or the oil pan seal.

only leaks while running does. any one know where the oil presure sensor is? I have bought a service manual yet. and if it was The VTC gears (intake cam gears) what need to be replaced?

I use to own a 88 300zx with 168K, and the oil leaked from the crankshaft area and would leak only when the engine was running. Turned out that it was leaking from the front main seal, took it to a shop that replace the seal, timing belt, water pump, tensioner for about 700 bux.
