Re: lookin to buy

If you want the extra options, then yes. If not, then no, you are blowing money. Unfortunately, this is a pretty tough question, as it will be differnet for everyone. Personally, I wish I would have gotten the LTZ for the heated seat, colormatched BSMs, and colormatched grille. All are available on the LT models now, as in the USA there is no more LTZ model, only LS and LT with multiple package options for each.

If you want to look at some of the differences with pics, check out www.TrailVoy.com, as most of the guys over there have some good pics and option lists.

Good luck with your new TB!

Re: lookin to buy

We bought an '02 TB LTZ back in 03, and are quite happy with it. The previous poster said they wish they had gotten the LTZ for the heated seats, etc... On a cold winter night the heated seats are GREAT! The rest of the options, like driver preference recall (seat position, radio favorites etc..) and the rain-sensing wipers are nice to have, but the best thing about the extras is how it helps the re-sale value.

We have been lucky so far with our TB LTZ and would probably buy another.

No car is perfect and we have had a couple things come up that were covered by the warranty -
1- The water pump started dripping out of the weep hole at about 20k,
2- the external air temp sensor went T.U.
3- about 30k and the rear brake cylinders started leaking, causing spongy brake action. All covered by warranty.

Good luck - I hope you enjoy your LTZ as much have we have enjoyed ours.
