Hi
I am planning to change my 1998 Civic DX front pads/Discs. How difficult this work is? Any special tool to remove the caliper? Appreciate your tips Thanks |

you will need a 12mm wrench or socket to remove the caliper, and a 14mm for the caliper hanger. if there are screws holding on the rotor, you will need an impact screw driver. You can get them any were. Part store, sears, home depow. And the rotor will fall right off. You might have to bang the rotor a little bit with a hammer.

Re: Changing Brake pad
Be sure to push the caliper piston back in to if not the caliper will not go over the new pads if your old ones was wore down alot...
2 bolts on the backside of the rotor to take caliper off like was said its a 12 MM..Thats about it... |
