Just off warranty, need major part, GM hucks!
I havent even made my first payment since my truck went off warranty and I need 485$ worth of work so the dealership says. I need a new coolant pump because mine is failing and leakin. I already ate 50 bucks of that in the pressure test so it is going to cost me 435$ to do this. Should I look elsewhere? please give me your 2bits on this guys...

Yeah, a water pump's not too hard to change... just takes time.

At least you made it off warranty. I didn't even get my 2005 chevy 5 miles away from the dealers lot when I bought it new and had to book it in for major warranty work. Major crunching type noise in the front suspension.
