Wheel allignement

Well I am getting ready to replace the tires on my civic and I know by looking at my old tires, the car needs alligned.. which one should I do first, allignement or get tires put on?

normally if you do both, they wont charge you the full price for the alignment, so you may save $20 by doing both at hte same time

Yeah, do both at the same time. If it's a money issue go for the alignment first. That way your new tires won't start to wear unevenly due to the poor alignment.

Well if I could do both at the same time I would.. But there is no good allignement shop around my are that puts on tires.. The few that do suck and I refuse to go there.. I am planning on getting both done I was just wondering if there was a big difference in the order I did it..

tires first then alignment. if worn tires are worn unevenly and an alignment is done it could change with new tires.

^^^ That's a good point. But I wouldn't want to drive new tires too long with poor alignment. It can tear them up quick.
