Question High Pitched Noise from back on 02

I just bought an 02 explore XLT v8. When I drive down the road it sounds like there is a high pitched sound coming from the rear of the car. I was wondering if it was the transfer case or what? It onlt sounds when accelerating and not when I let off the gas. Is this something has seen before or does someone know a link to a similar problem on this post. It is kinda long!

I have an early production 03 also w/ V8 and had same problem. Cause was axle bearing on the half-shafts. Covered by 36/36mo waranty. If you have extended warranty it'll cost you your deductible. Otherwise it's your money.
