hehehe... gotta love it...

"And for those of you who might say, “Well, the Challenger has 35 hp more,” I would just reply that we have a certified 1OO more on tap from the ZO6 engine, should the need arise."

Re: hehehe... gotta love it...

Kinda sucks that the Challenger will be an onderpowerd 4100 lb pig like the rest of the LX series... have fun with your rebodied 300C / Charger buddy and tell me how 5th gen taillights look.

For the record I think the Detroit concept looks great... agressive front; mean, muscular looking rear quarters (can refer to them as "haunches" once again); cowl hood = sick... and IRS combined with the increased wheelbase will mean awesome handling (won't have the problem that 02-04 Cobras ahd at the track, GM has a much better/more durable IRS system ready to go into the Zeta cars).

What I don't like: obviously the mirrors are not likely to pass DOT approval in their current state. Also the 21 inch wheels up front and 22 out back are way too big... that's probably just for the show car anyway though. Also I think the guages need a little more work, and not sure how keen I am on the center console guages for fuel, temp, oil PSI and voltage.

LS2 + T56 already is a tried and true combo with a great aftermarket.

Honestly buddy by the time you have your 700 HP LT1 in 10 years you'll still be seeing 5th gen taillights, as long as it gets to market and stays there

Re: hehehe... gotta love it...

oh and by the way... taking retro CUES is good... taking a 35 year old car and updating it to make it pass DOT standards and throwing an oh my god HEMI!!!!! into it is half-assed queerness

I seriously just hope they dont go 21s in the front 22s in the back. Although that would make it a trend killer! Talk about a double edged sword..

Re: hehehe... gotta love it...

I would tell the dealers tho "here's my down payment... but you'll only get it if I have smaller rims on it." lol.

I doubt they will stagger the rim sizes on the production car tho, for cost purposes

Re: hehehe... gotta love it...

The 'quad pod' in the center console is straight out of the first gen rs/ss not sure but I want to say 69's and forth, Korndogg probably knows better. So it's knid of fitting to be in the car since the majoity is first gen style cueing. I did notice the side profile of the front facia has some thrid gen angles. Keep the likes/dislikes going tho, somebody has to be listening, especially at the shows.

Re: hehehe... gotta love it...

I know it's otu fo the first gens, but they have to be careful to execute it correctly... make em clearly visible and make it unneccesary to take your head off the road, focus on them, and look back up, know what I mean?
