well making this quick but informative. had some problems recently w/ my '91 buick riv. the twilight sentinal had quit working (due to a fuse im sure) but then i had to use my manual light switch. while leaving a resturant one night i pushed in the switch and CRACK the d*** thing fell apart i had pushed the switch into the unit cluster and the dahs board then flickerd a couple times and went bck to normal. now i can still driver her just fine but dont have head lights (so needless to say its a daytime car) cllld around about 30 places and nothing worked not even the dealership they said around $500 to fix. my cars not worth that much, wondering if anyone has a wiring idea for a direct toggle relay or something like it and if possible a wiring schem. if anyone can help thank you very much

check the back of the switch. If there is a power and a ground, just connect the wires to a toggle switch.

Re: ummm...i broke it and not sure if i can fix
ok well i can check that but what im afraid of is that it will be more complicated then this. should i take the whole dash apart then check out the unit cluster cuz as i said the intire cluster (front side) is exposed. and by making toggle switch am i gonna have brights and parkingor just straight reg. lights, another reason i wuoldnt mind a wiring diagram. any other thoughts?
