Installing Subwoofers
I am installing new subs in my 3kgt and I cant find a place to run my positive power wire from my battery to my amp. There is almost nowhere to drill a hole in the fire wall either. If any of you have had the pleasure of doing this please let me know how or show me where I can find pictures of this being done. Thanks.

Re: Installing Subwoofers
Somewhere on the fire wall is a hole already cut that has wires running from teh engine to the dash and all that. Locate those wires and run your wire through where they are. Normally on passenger side but it coudl be different depending on your model. It helps to use black tape and use a clothes hanger that is taped 7-10 inches up on the wire and used to put it through. To locate the wires sometimes its easier to look on the firewall under the hood. Let me know how it all works out!!

Re: Installing Subwoofers
i've heard of people finding a hole on the passenger side firewall, but i assume they have 2nd gens. I have a first gen and what I did was underneath the driver side there is a hole to a firewall where the steering colum goes into the engine bay. There is a big rubber piece around that, what i did was run my wire through that rubber.

Re: Installing Subwoofers
I don't know about the 3kgt, but in my 1st gen Stealth, there is a rubber grommet already in place in the drivers side, directly behind the clutch pedal and above it. They already had it cut and wires running through, so I had no problem with it. What type of system are you putting in?

Re: Re: Installing Subwoofers
There is a hole with wires coming through the fire wall right behind the radio area. if you take apart the side of ur middle consul u shoudl beable to see it. it runs right through to the other side. just cut a place for the new wires through the plastic part and u shoudl be good thats wut i did.

Re: Re: Re: Installing Subwoofers
No need to take apart the console. As stated there is a grommet kinda below the battery box area, and another over by the pedals. Mine is coming in by the pedals, and run under my console, under the carpet and under the back seats. Wires are 100% hidden other than by the amp itself.
