Completed: Ford Mustang "Cobra Throwback"

I got pictures outside today, in natural light. Comments would be welcomed. If you remember, I originally thought that the car would be white with blue stripes, but the Cobra Colors Snowfrost Pearl was more silver than expected. But dealing with what I had, it's graphite with Fiji Blue Pearl stripes, and a custom blue and black interior with silver accents. Steering wheel is a Cobra throwback also, with metal spokes and a wooden rim. This is also the first time that I layed out my own stripes. I think they came out well, with only a little bit of fade where I didn't mask well enough.

The exterior was all Cobra Colors, Black Magic primer, Fire Pearls Snowfrost and Fiji Blue, and then Ultra Clear Clearcoat. All were amazing, and the Fire Pearls are a joy to work with; my only recommendation is you wear a mask, or you'll get high off the fumes!

Once again, I'd love comments.

Re: Completed: Ford Mustang "Cobra Throwback"

Thanks for all the compliments. I just went down to Middletown today and picked up the Viper kit... I can promise that it WILL be white with blue stripes. Classic white goes on tonight, let that dry (it takes forever) and then mask and stripe it tomorrow.

Re: Completed: Ford Mustang "Cobra Throwback"

Believe it or not, that's a Revell kit. Aftermarket rims, though.
