ABS problem info

I have a 98 4x4 Blazer. My ABS light started comming on after I drove over 8MPH or whatever speed it does the second test at. I checked all the wheel sensors, then got the codes read. They said that there was an open/shorted motor and 6 bad circuits on the unit. I went out an got another unit, that didn't work. Finally traced some wires out and found out that I had a bad ground on the main power plug going into the unit. The ground wire goes to the body under the intake filter box, next to the windshield washer tank. Cleaned it up, and the ABS acts quicker than it ever has.
