Unhappy 95 T-Bird...Many Problems...Mostly Starting...

(my spelling is bad so please bear with me)

So to start with the big one...She won't start in the cold/rain...

I turn the ignition and I can hear it trying to turn over, every once in a while it'll get a lil gas through and it uhh...convulses is the best way to describe it...It used to take a long time of on/off before it finally fired up but now the battery dies before it gets that far...I'm currently jumping it everytime I need to leave the house...

Also I need to press extremly delicatly on the gas (when trying to start) to get any through to the engine...

Once it starts I can't really acellerate for about the first couple of miles...If I apply pressure to the gas pedal the car will start violently shaking and the rpm gauge will just bounce up and down...But like I said this goes away...

Once the car is started for the day It seems to run fine...But when it sits overnight the problem seems to come back by morning...

I'm guessing it's a fuel pump problem and has worsened to an electrical problem from all the attempted starting...Sometimes it seems like if I just let the battery charge from another car for a while it has a much greater chance of starting...

I hope it's not an expensive problem because I'm rather poor..

Thanks everyone...
