where is the airbox located on a 1996 buick Riviera s/c and does anyone know where I can disconnect any pipes or anything that muffle the sound to make my car louder? please answer thanks

the intake comes out of the right side of the engine (opposite of the belts) and the airbox is right at the front of the engine bay just behind the core support. I ordered an intake off ebay that comes with a K&N filter, I haven't recieved it yet, but once I install it I will let you know if it changes the tone of the intake. I'm sure it will, but other than getting a new intake, I am not sure if you can make it louder.

Thanks, hey im not sure where the airbox is still beacuse I dont know what a core support is and stuff is it where the intakes connects too? I hear people can gut there airbox I want to know how.....please repley back thanks I just want more horse power....I already got the ebay intake

If you have the ebay intake and is just has a filter on the end, you dont have an air box. The air box is where the filter is on a stock intake.
I circled the airbox in this picture. By the way the core support is what the radiator attaches to.
