Angry 98 4 cylinder SE Alternator removal - HELP!

HELP!! -

we can't figure out how to get the darn alternator out of a basic model 4 cylinder ford contour - there are tons of postings for the V6 - but my dad swears we do no need to take off the tire wall??

After doing more research we found the orginal post and were able to remove it!!! - Also - after removing it we have found that it was actual the belt tensioner - that needs to be replaced (oh yeah soo happy about that...)
