98 4 cylinder SE Alternator removal - HELP!
HELP!! -
we can't figure out how to get the darn alternator out of a basic model 4 cylinder ford contour - there are tons of postings for the V6 - but my dad swears we do no need to take off the tire wall?? THANK YOU!

After doing more research we found the orginal post and were able to remove it!!! - Also - after removing it we have found that it was actual the belt tensioner - that needs to be replaced (oh yeah soo happy about that...)
